Dr Nadeem Sabir, Dr Omar Badat, Dr Asfa Mughal & Dr Sandhya Rajagopal

Let’s take a closer look at the Associate Dentists.

Dr Nadeem Sabir

Nadeem graduated from the University of Manchester and has worked previously as a Senior House Officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Pinderfields General Hospital. He currently also works part-time as a speciality doctor at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.

He believes in ethical and non-evasive dentistry and has a strong interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He loves the way that transforming a patient’s smile can give them more confidence. He is a very empathic person and is very approachable. He studied with one of the UK’s top cosmetic dentists, Dr Christopher Orr, and he continues to complete numerous post-grad courses internationally, and in the UK, to further his knowledge of the best dental techniques from some of the world’s best dentists.

Dr Omar Badat

Omar is an approachable and caring dentist who graduated from Cardiff University. He has worked at dentists in the coastal areas of Swansea and East Yorkshire before settling here in Leeds.

He is a Platinum II Invisalign and Platinum 6 Month Smiles provider so if you need to find out which teeth straightening option is best for you, he is your man. Using his digital dentistry training, he can produce an immediate 3D scan for his patients, which helps them to visualise how their smile and teeth will look after straightening but before the treatment starts.

Omar also has a special interest in transforming people’s smiles using:

He works in all aspects of dentistry and has experience working in care homes for the elderly, home visits, diagnosing and treating patients in pain for the emergency service, taking referrals from local dentists for taking out difficult teeth and wisdom teeth as well as providing beautiful looking dentures.

All these experiences have shaped Omar into the highly respected and personable dentist we see today. Another feather to his bow is his training in facial aesthetics treatments and he can provide anti-wrinkle and dermal filler injections in Leeds.

Dr Asfa Mughal

Asfa graduated from the University of Manchester in 2014 and has gained considerable experience since then in all areas of dentistry. This includes her most recent two-year post as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in several hospitals across Liverpool and Sheffield.

She has a real passion for delivering the best clinical care possible to her patients and always goes the extra mile to explain and educate her patients fully about the procedure before commencing treatment. She is highly empathetic and approachable and over the years has completed international presentations, teaching and post-graduate courses, which have been recognised by various diplomas.

Over the past few years, she has enjoyed caring for anxious patients with complex medical needs and performing oral surgery. She likes nothing more than transforming someone’s smile and seeing the confidence this gives them. She has completed a Minimally Invasive Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry course to further her knowledge in this area and this includes providing the ever-popular teeth straightening option Invisalign.

Dr Sandhya Rajagopal

Sandhya gained her Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) at The University of Bristol in 2008. She has since taken a specialist interest in endodontics, where she has become a highly skilled dental specialist in diagnosing and treating tooth pain and performing root canal treatment.

She has passed her exams for the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculty (MJDF) and is currently completing her MSc in Endodontology at the University of Central Lancashire. Having previously worked as a dentist in hospital and practice environments, Sandhya now focuses her clinical practice on Endodontics and providing conscious sedation. She is also a member of the British Endodontic Society.
