Dr Alex Asquith

Dr Asquith-Phillips obtained his dental degree in 2012 from the University of Leeds and then returned to the same university in 2014 as a Clinical Teaching Fellow.
He began work within the NHS for a number of years but has since focused on private practice and developing his restorative and cosmetic skills. This includes smile makeovers, Invisalign and composite bonding.
He enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a passion for restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He also has an interest in endodontics (root canal) with the use of a microscope. He is now progressing to a full digital workflow with all restorative implant, crown and bridge work being completed through digital workflows.

Treating the most anxious patients
Alex is certified as a sedation dentist and regularly treats anxious patients under Intravenous sedation. He receives regular referrals for sedation dentistry, root canal treatment, full mouth reconstructions and complex treatment plans.
He is currently completing a postgraduate certificate in Implantology and has attended courses both nationally and internationally on different aspects of dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, he is happily married. He enjoys all aspects of sports and regularly plays football. He enjoys visiting National Trust and English Heritage sites. He also is an avid cook and has a passion for both cooking and eating out.
