Invisalign, often described as the ‘invisible brace’ is a discreet orthodontic treatment involving no metal just a series of clear aligners which have been tailored for each patient individually, reducing treatment times to anything between 6 – 24 months, depending on the complexity of the case. The custom-made aligners are made from very strong, clear medical grade plastic which fit comfortably over your teeth allowing you to talk as normal.
Here at Aesthetique Dental Care, we aim to make your experience and treatment as comfortable as possible by using an advanced 3D scanning system called Itero to plan your treatment, meaning there are no messy mouth-filling impressions, only a comfortable intraoral scanner which then allows us to show you your teeth as they are now, how they are going to move and the end result.
If Invisalign is right for you, we will complete a full health check of your teeth and gums to ensure they are healthy and can be moved with no problems. Once the health check is complete we take full records including photographs, radiographs, and Itero scans, which are sent off to Invisalign to make your ClinCheck (treatment plan showing your teeth start to finish). Once you give us the go-ahead your Invisalign aligners will be ordered, and fitted and you receive a new aligner every two weeks until you have the smile you always dreamed of!
